The village

184 students live in this village. At the time of construction, Village Vesterbro was the biggest residential building made from wood in Copenhagen. Also - to our knowledge - it was the first residential building project to register and baseline the biodiversity score of the site before construction and with a plan for how to increase it after construction. By building dense, small and in wood, the CO2 emissions is much lower in this building compared to a standard building.

Location

It lies in a gem of a site just off Enghavevej. There is a tunnel under the railway that allow you to walk to the cafés and nightlife of Vesterbro while enjoying the calm urban forest surrounding.

Community

Since its founding The CPH Village Vesterbro community has been putting in a lot of time and love into the outdoor areas helping make it an awesome place to hang out. Its also a place where we host debates and do occasional yoga and the likes.
