The Village

In this village we are exploring if its possible to create an urban village, that evolves, where you dont know what is happening around the corner and where you can go and be a creator.

Location

Our Village on Nørrebro is located on a secret plot on Nørrebro. Only a 2 minute bike ride from Den Røde Plads and Nørrebrogade and you’ll live in the middle of the unique atmosphere on Nørrebro with hang-out spots, café’s, falafel-joints and much more. Easy access to the rest of the city with S-trains and the metro. Right next door is the newly renovated Mimers park.

Community

Village Nørrebro is perhaps the most diverse community we helped set up. First of theres 352 apartments! This means that you’ll get LOTS of great new neighbors to share your everyday life with. Cook dinner, study, party, chill, help each other out and explore how to grow the community in the best way - it’s all something you will do together.

People living in this village come from all walks of life. Young people study to become chefs, nurses, business gurus and more. And then a small group of non-students are living here as well. CPH Village collaborates with the Municipality of Copenhagen by offering 9 people temporary housing in Village Nørrebro.

The community is still in its formative stage and has many incredible years ahead of it. Come join us and make it the coolest place to live in the city.
