Open position
Community Events & Engagement Intern
Flexible hours
Nørrebro, Copenhagen
Are you ready to switch from books to a hands-on experience? We’re looking for an intern to join our Community Team and help shape the framework that empowers meaningful connections and communities. This is a flexible role where your interests and ideas are welcome — anything you’re passionate about, we’re excited to explore with you!
The Position
We’re preparing for the grand opening of our newest student Village in Østerbro on May 1st, 2025. This new Village will be home to 192 students who don’t know each other yet but will soon create one big community, along with several smaller communities. Your role will be to help make this a reality!
Your Tasks:
Plan and execute an unforgettable opening event for Village Østerbro.
Support our Community Managers with ongoing community events.
Shape and nurture existing and new communities in our Villages — your ideas are more than welcome!
Assist with the evaluation of community events to help us continuously improve.
About you:
You’re a motivated, people-first person eager to help shape communities.
Ideally, you’re studying something related to community-building, event management, or social sciences — but passion and drive matter most.
You’re available to start as soon as possible and can stay with us at least until the opening of Village Østerbro.
Working with us
CPH Village is a small company that constructs student housing in Copenhagen. Our plan is to build and operate 10 villages over the next two years and, through them, learn how to create the best place to live for people and the planet. Nothing less.
Currently, we have around 800 residents spread across two locations in Copenhagen, and we are already in the process of building more villages.
With the first villages, we've learned a lot of do's 😁 and don'ts 🤦♂️. Now, we are ready to accelerate our learning and build upon what works. Join us on this journey and help us develop how we can become even better at contributing to good neighborliness.
What We Offer
You’ll be an equal part of the team, working alongside an open, dynamic group of changemakers.
The internship is unpaid, but you’ll have access to all our company’s pop-up events, parties, office snacks, and great coffee.
Space and support to develop your own ideas and shape communities in a way that’s meaningful to you.
The chance to be part of the exciting launch of Village 5 in Østerbro.

If you’re ready to co-create a vibrant community and leave a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you!
